Do I carry out acupuncture on myself?

Not often.
Also some areas of my body, especially on my own back are very difficult to get to.

There is a major difference between me putting needles in myself and any untrained person doing so.

I would strongly recommend that anyone who has not completed a full professional acupuncture training course, does not attempt self acupuncture.

It is dangerous for untrained people to attempt self acupuncture, because they could cause damage to the internal organs of the body.

But I do occasionally treat myself with acupuncture for mild conditions, such as a common cold.

Usually it is much easier and safer to use acupressure rather than acupuncture when attempting to heal yourself.
